China's comments on Economy
Recently the US has spent 6$ billion on weapons to Taiwan. This angered China because China believes that Taiwan is a part of China. The US did this to catch the eyes of China because they are completely ignoring them in debates like Iran, North Korea and Climate change. President Obama said that the Chinese currency is kept at an artificially low level to give China an unfair advantage is selling exports. China wasn’t so pleased when they heard President Obama say this. Some of what he did say was accurate though, like when he mentioned the currency to help them with their exports it’s because the Chinese currency is 25 to 40% compared to the US dollar and to other countries. The Chinese currency is still rising due to the max amount of exports being shipped out. The biggest buyer from the Chinese would be the US, but China also has 2.4 trillion in foreign exchange reserves. President Obama hopes to change this by making more jobs to hopefully make more exports. China likes to have a cheap currency, and that Chinese leaders have been impatient with the economic policy from their own chief debtor. Like mentioned earlier that the selling of weapons to Taiwan angered the Chinese but also Secretary of State Hilary Clinton also criticized China for censoring the Internet and Google for hacking. The US could be doing this on purpose as a strategic opportunity to catch China off guard from their economy, while the US could be working on theirs. But I also think this was also done just to get their attention for help them with other important debates.

What I have learned in 5th hour.
What I have learned in 4th hour.
Austin Stevens 4th hour
The thing that I learned the most would be the Rwandan genocide, if we never have went over this I would have never learned about the Hutus and Tutsi’s. Before I have no idea that they even existed or that there was even a genocide. With talking about the genocide I learned how brutal the Interahamwe was to the Hutus and the Tutsi, I would have never guessed that they would literally chop them down in the streets with a machete. I also now relies the struggle that the people had to go through and that the UN and other parties were basically useless at times And how Paul had to organize a whole hotel just for Hutus and Tutsi’s just to give them a place to stay so they would not be killed. Also the sacrifice that the people had to make, Paul had to give thousands of dollars to save his family and neighbors in the beginning. Another thing that Paul did was that he had to bribe his Interahamwe friend to gather supplies and not to go in the hotel and take to people away.
Another really interesting thing I learned was the aborigines of Australia. To begin with I never really even know much about Australia, but I got to learn about the aborigines and their traditions. Alone with their of culture I know that the aborigine culture is fading away because less and less aborigines are leaving a urban area and going into cities and not practicing it.
One of the biggest things that I learned was about people’s culture and that many people practice and do things very differently. From South Africa to Australia their all different in different ways. The differences could be from food, religion, and even the way people greet each other can be different. Also it’s not that the way they do things is weird to them it’s just normal.
When we got the Weekly Articles that really helped me understand what was going on, but the margin notes we had to do really broke down the article to me and I’m sure I will definitely use margin notes later on when I’m stuck on an article. Writing the weekly blogs and essays I think really helped me extend my writing. Before I didn’t really know how to “address” an essay, but now when I write one I now think I’m getting better at them and I’m beginning to type it more clearly without clutter. When we had to search for our articles for the Rwandan genocide and other pieces, I can finally figure out the difference between a reliable source and a non reliable source.
When we started talking about the myths I knew some background knowledge from prior reading myths before, but when we had the chance of actually creating one was another story. I could never imagine doing that, it was really hard of thinking about the characters, the plot, and the lesson of the story.
The last thing that I thought I knew pretty well was capitalization and apostrophes. Well I was pretty much wrong. I know now that the apostrophes and capitalization needs to go in a lot of different spots that id imagine and I’m for sure that I will be using them in other pieces of writing.

Title
Title
Today I was in the computer lab when I didn’t know what to write about, so I started talking to Michael Sudek, Brendan Webberly, and Jon West. We started to talk about Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. We agree that it is one of the best games every created but it has some downfalls. One is that it is WAY to repetitive. When you beat the campaign what do you do play online. Well when you play online all you do is just earn points, get to level 70 and prestige. When you get to 10th there’s nothing else to do. One of the huge downsides of MW 2 is the nukes. You can get a nuke if u get a 25kill streak, I really hate this because everyone dies and it ends the game. That’s why Assassins Creed 2 is the best game ever created. The campaign can be endless and there are many achievements you are able to get. So when Assassins Creed gets game of the year I’ll be happy.
When I was talking to Michael Sudek he showed me his blog, when he showed me his picture on his recent blog It was disgusting. It was a photo of a guy ankle getting snapped by a Florida player. That brings me to my next topic, NCAA bowl games. One of the best bowl games I saw this year was Central Michigan vs. Troy in the GMAC bowl. My sister goes to CMU so we go to a lot of their games. It’s really a shame that quarterback Dan LeFeiver is a senior and has to leave. He was amazing his years as a quarterback, and maybe he could be drafted by a NFL team. I think he’s got the skill to be in the NFL. The next game I saw yesterday was Alabama vs. Texas. Texas has been on of my favorite teams for a while. Ever since Texas beat USC in the rose bowl with Vince Young, the Longhorns has been one of my teams to watch. I really disappointment was Colt McCoy getting hurt. How would that feel, You’re in the National Championship, you’re a captain, and a leader to the team, and also you’re the senior quarterback and you get hurt and have to sit and watch the rest of the game. I felt really bad for him. But I will say congrats to the Alabama Crimson Tide on winning the nation championship.

Hurricane
Monday November 9th: Hurricane Ida is expected to hit where i am right now; Cancun, Mexico. I'm pretty excited which is a odd response for people that are going to be effected by a Hurricane, yes I know, But i've never been in any really dangerous situations before, Tusnami's, Blizzards or anything also not mentioning that were in Michigan . I really want to be apart of somthing like that, and just experience it, or i can say that I was in a hurricane before, I think that would be pretty cool. I heard also that it's not going to be HUGE like hurricane Katrina or somthing it should be small but still, it will be pretty cool. One thing im kinda worried about it that by the windows and doors water has been leaking in, so that kinda worries me just a bit. Ever since me and my sister arrived it's been raining, and it hasnt stopped, which kinda stinks because of little to no sun. But we've still have been making the best of it. When I went in the sea yesturday the wave were really big.I got plowed over a few times really hard. I really want to boogy board right now, its the best time too. But the lifegaurd is soo picky when we can and cannot. Also yesturday, I saw the most crazyest thing of my life! My family and friends were on our daily walk, when a huge crowd started to go by a part of a beach. This guy was swimming when he got pulled by the undertoe out into the Sea, but the life gaurd went in after him and saved him. So now im really aware when i go swimming now.

Free Blog-My Sports
My sports.
Even since I was little I always have been included in some way shape or form of a sport. My sports team was soccer when I was 5 years old. From what I remember it was a Livonia recreation team. After soccer season was over I started to play T-ball. T-ball was a start of something great. I meet three of my best friends who I am still friends with today. Travis, Tyler B, and Tyler T which we would call them were the best of best friends. When I became 7 years old I quit soccer for the greatest sport in the world......Hockey. After my first year of mite hockey I was hooked onto it and I've been playing ever since. I really haven’t tried to or attempted to try to play any other sports on teams; I was too interested on playing hockey and baseball. My first travel hockey team was the Livonia Knights. We were in Squirt AA. We had a pretty good team we one 9 tournaments and got invited to a Tournament of Champions tournament down in Ohio. We actually won that too! My first travel baseball team was called the Concealed Security Hornets. I was scouted from playing fall ball with my friends from house league. They were considered an AAA baseball team which was basically the best of the best. The most remember able moment I had was driving to Chicago and playing a World Series called CABA, and in that tournament I think it was our third game I hit a three run homerun to a 350 fence. Now today I play hockey for the ’95 Novi Ice Cats Bantam AA, this a totally new team to me I didn’t know anyone on the team when I first tried out, but now I'm great friends with each one of them. I also played baseball for the Walled Lake Vipers this past summer. I started to play a whole new position, Catcher. When I first tried catcher back in spring training I fell in love with this position. I always felt that you always got the ball and the most fun part of being a catcher is sliding to block a ball and gunning a kid down at second base. This year I hope to make JV baseball for Stevenson and for next year hope to make Varsity hockey for Stevenson.

On Friday October 9, 2009 the National Aeronautics and Space Administration or NASA launched two Probes into the moon’s creator Cabeus called to collect evidence of frozen water. NASA had already found hydrogen within the moon which can form into water. The impact of a speed of
I think that this mission was cool and interesting but I don’t think that United States should be spending millions of dollars on a space mission like this. I think that we could have used the money spent more smartly, by maybe using it on the war that were facing. Also what If we found out there was water, what would we do then? If there water any source of water it most likely going to be deep within the moon.

On October 15 in Denver Colorado a homemade balloon was set off, but the passenger was a 6 year old boy named Falcon. After 2 hours in flight the balloon landed but no passenger. Many people thought that the boy fell out of the balloon, but police went on a neighbor hood search for the young boy. Later that day they found the boy hiding in the attic of his garage. The boy said, “ i thought i would get in trouble”. We also found out that the ballon was the boys fathers experiment.

Cancun mexico
Cancun Mexico
Do you remember that one special trip you usually get once of year? That Special place where everything is just perfect? Well to me that place is in Cancun Mexico. My family and I get to go once a year with our good friends the Bellis’s. In every November the kids, which is Tyler, Ryan, my Sister and I all fly down to Mexico. Our parents go a week ahead of the kids due to school. The plane ride is about 3 hours which isn’t too bad. Me and Tyler have always sat next to each other every time we fly, and it never is a boring ride, we almost always find something to entertain ourselves.
When we arrive we catch a taxi and drive off to our hotel. Our hotel is about 3 minuets from the city so we sometimes go down there for some shopping or for dinner. At the hotel is our parents always waiting there side by side waving there hands as we arrive. We grab our bags, and get our bracelets which tell the employees that were staying at this hotel. Our hotel is rather neat, to the south of it is a Lagoon but to the north is the white yellowish sandy beach and the big beautiful Caribbean Sea.
The Sea is the best part of the trip, from sun rise to sunset. The different shades of blue is really cool, you can really see what parts is the deepest and the shallowest! In the afternoons we normally spend and 4-5 hours in the water a day. We always play football in the water, the best part about this is the waves cause every time you think you going to catch it...WHAM! You get crushed by a wave. Near about 8 o’clock is when the sun starts to go down. Seeing the sunset is breath taking, seeing all the different shades of red, yellow and orange across the waves of the Sea.
